Opportunity: As demand grew for healthier, better-managed buildings, Healthy Building Consortium (HBC) brought together specialists in paints, air quality, facilities software, workplace management and sustainability. The opportunity was to present these capabilities as one integrated offer, helping developers and building owners improve indoor environments while simplifying the path to green building certification.
Insights: Tangible worked with the core team to define HBC’s shared Vision, Mission and Values, clarifying how each member contributed to a healthier built environment. This created the foundation for a clear brand promise and architecture that united the consortium without diluting the expertise of its individual partners.
Results: Tangible developed HBC’s brand strategy, architecture and visual and verbal identity, giving the consortium a cohesive platform to communicate its combined capabilities across both new and existing buildings.
Tangible developed the name, identity and Visual Core Element system for HBC based on consumer research findings and management’s aspirations. The logo and visual system allow for multiplicity, meaning within the built environment sector, the visual system can include more partners with a broader range of services.
Together with a Messaging House, the system reflected a more inclusive and thoughtful approach to building better spaces. Tangible then developed a website, which reflected the team’s business objectives to engage different stakeholder groups.
