PCSS, is a Large Local Enterprise and a market leader in Homeland Security. Despite growing revenue and demand for IT professionals in the infocomm industry, the tight IT labour market and border restrictions due to the pandemic have made it challenging. The goal was to position PCSS as an employer of choice to reach potential candidates, including fresh graduates and mid-career professionals, branding PCSS as a innovative security solutions, Technology & Telecommunications provider.
Tangible developed Visual Core Elements and communication templates, grounded in a dependable, steady, and assured personality, reflecting PCSS’s values. Building on these foundations, we designed a refreshed logo that honoured the company’s heritage while emphasising its commitment to innovation and progress. Through in-depth research, we found that ‘PCSS’ was the most commonly recognised and used name, leading us to standardise it. The new visual system features a reliable midnight blue, contrasted with vivid cyan and lime accents, creating a modern, dynamic look. This system also visually references the systems integration work PCSS excels in, with interlocking elements that convey all key information clearly and effectively.
Tangible established core values for the brand that guided behavior, decision-making, and key messaging, ensuring consistency and alignment both internally and externally across all touchpoints. With these values in place, Tangible then developed and produced a series of engaging employee videos as part of a broader recruitment campaign, designed to attract top talent while reinforcing the company’s culture and vision.
Testing Brand Architecture hypothesis became the catalyst for PCSS to overhaul the presentation of their Lines of Business and Product & Services menus. The results are reflected on the refreshed website.
Tangible designed building and wayfinding signages for the PCSS Corporate Offices and Data Centre. We then developed ‘The PCSS Heritage Wall’ at the new office on Cantonment Road. This is a celebration of both the ‘ups’ and the ‘downs’ of the PCSS’s journey.
